San Antonio Spurs star injured in practice
Thursday, September 30th, 2010It was released today that San Antonio’s Tiago Splitter has strained his right plantaris muscle. Splitter’s career with the San Antonio Spurs has been rocky to begin with. Originally drafted in 2007, Splitter was chosen by the Spurs as the 28th pick (overall) in the first round. However, the player would go onto resign his contract with Saski Baskonia, and as a result, Splitter wouldn’t join the spurs until the 2010 season.Now the player must undergo a seven, maybe ten, day rehabilitation program. Once the NBA star has completed the program, the decision about when he can return to the team will be made.
